Through its Executive Education programs, the Fisher College of Business (FCOB) offers a wide selection of high quality customized and open enrollment programs (e.g. virtual, hybrid and in-person) designed to meet current and emerging business needs. Fisher provides real-world learning and development programs that are led by expert faculty, business leaders, and consultants with extensive real-world work experience. The Executive Director of Executive Education leads and directs a group of professionals responsible for a) managing non-degree executive education programming at Fisher College and b) managing the certificates and other micro-credentialing programming opportunities at the Fisher College, c) providing critically important support services to other executive graduate degree offerings namely, Executive MBA (EMBA) program, Master in Business Operational Excellence (MBOE) program, and other graduate degree programs (such as certificates). Works collaboratively with faculty, staff, and client corporations to identify the challenges facing today's leaders. With faculty, designs and develops executive education courses and programs. Manages delivery of all non-degreed executive education as well as certificates and micro-credentialing programming. Ensures that Fisher programs are highly relevant and differentiated, capitalize on faculty strengths, and contribute to building skills and capabilities that support the economic vitality of our region and nation. Diligently markets and sells executive education program offerings to a nationwide business community across various industries. Responsible for building the business, expanding the geographical reach of programming, and contributing significantly to revenue growth of the college. Engages in recruitment initiatives which attract high caliber students and organizations from across the globe. Supports the program's faculty leadership in on-going curriculum development activities. Responsible for building the reputation of the Fisher’s non-degree, certificate and micro-credentialing programs. The Executive Director is responsible, in concert to the faculty leadership to which the position reports, for the continued development and implementation of the mission, vision, and strategy for Executive Programs in alignment with the overall mission and strategic goals of Fisher College. This position reports to the Associate Dean of Graduate Programs and Executive Education at Fisher College.  


Required: Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience; At least 7 years’ experience in managing educational programs either in a university or corporate setting; Experience in business development and in generating new revenue;  Knowledge of trends in executive education; a proven ability to think strategically while managing efficient operations; ability to collaborate and coordinate across diverse groups, strong business intelligence, people skills, and consultative selling skills. strong written and oral communication skills with the proven ability to problem-solve and effectively operate in a senior administrative role. 


Desired: PhD in Business Administration or a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
