The Sr. Marketing Specialist provides strategic leadership associated with creation of marketing deliverables used in print, web, video, and multimedia applications to support recruitment goals and promote brand awareness of the School. This includes the analysis of marketing initiatives, communications strategies, and brand cohesion. The position reports to the Director of Admissions for GSEHD and supervises one direct report. 
 
The key responsibilities include: 
 
Collaborate with GSEHD faculty and staff to develop marketing strategies that communicate GSEHD’s mission, current initiatives and research, and value of academic programs. Focus on internal customer service.   Manage the work of third-party vendors in the marketing process.  Ensure all marketing campaigns are within established budgets, on time, and meet GSEHD’s specifications.   In collaboration with centralized GW marketing services, develop creative content and material specific to advancing student recruitment for GSEHD.     Assist with developing communication plans for prospective graduate students to support the School’s student recruitment efforts.   Analyze data and provide meaningful insights and trends from all phases of the marketing process.   Lead, train, and manage performance of staff.   Other duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning additional responsibilities that are logically related to the position   Minimum Qualifications: Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 5 years of relevant professional experience, or, a Master’s degree or higher in a relevant area of study plus 3 years of relevant professional experience. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
