Position Overview : Works closely with community and on-campus partners to coordinate all logistics and programing for prospective student groups wanting to visit campus.

Department Specific Essential Job Functions: Coordinate daily tour welcome speeches and all group tours visiting campus. Manage all prospective student's requests to meet with academic departments and coordinate scheduling appointments. Assist Assistant Director of Campus Tours and Events with all Prospective Student Events. One of the primary public contact and service providers for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, responsible for daily front-line activity. Answers inquiries or general information regarding admissions, enrollment, records, and other enrollment management questions. Assists with special projects when necessary, such as mass mailing projects or packet assembly. Assists with data entry of information received from prospective students. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Experience Required: Requires a university degree in related field or 4+ years of equivalent work experience in chosen filed that provides knowledge of and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts. Requires the application of expertise in a chosen field to achieve results.

Qualifications/Experience Preferred : Experience with computer software such as Microsoft Office and experience with on-line computer systems. Experience with multi-line phones. Bachelors degree.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Excellent public relations, communications (both oral and written) and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively on the telephone and person to person. Must demonstrate a warm, caring and professional attitude. Ability to perform duties effectively, efficiently, accurately, and prioritize multiple assignments. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to effectively work during extremely busy and stressful periods. Good records management skills. Computer knowledge is essential. Ability to accurately and expediently process and analyze detailed paperwork.
