The Mead Witter School of Music (MWSoM) at the University of
Wisconsin-Madison invites applications for its undergraduate
advisor position to work with undergraduates in supporting their
degree progress and to assist the department in offering a varied
and broad education in music.
As one of the largest departments within the College of Letters
& Science, the School of Music offers flexible programs with
innovative and global approaches to music study. Our undergraduate
degrees include the Bachelor's of Arts/Science in Music Performance
(in which students often double major with another discipline), and
Bachelor's of Music, with Music Performance and Music Education

Degree and Area of Specialization:
Bachelor's degree required. Master's Degree preferred.
Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:
At least one or more years of experience with student services,
preferably advising, within a higher educational setting.
Demonstrated leadership skills as well as excellent analytical,
oral, written and computer skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a
