The Department of Radiology, University of Wisconsin-Madison School
of Medicine & Public Health is seeking a full-time radiologist,
interested in pursuing an academic career in Cardiothoracic Imaging
at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor on the CHS
(Clinical Health Sciences) Track.
Clinical duties will include clinical interpretation of chest
radiographs, chest CT, cardiovascular CT and MRI. We offer a
flexible work environment with full remote PACS for after-hours and
call duties. Faculty are active participants in a variety of
multidisciplinary patient care conferences.
The successful candidate will teach medical students, residents,
fellows, and other department trainees as appropriate. Teaching
assignments will focus on thoracic and cardiovascular

research program in thoracic or cardiovascular imaging with
potential for collaboration across disciplines at UW Madison.
The candidate will participate in administrative and committee work
to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the
School of Medicine and Public Health. An essential part of these

Degree and Area of Specialization:
MD or DO
Thoracic or Cardiothoracic or Cardiovascular Radiology fellowship
training or equivalent experience.
Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:
Applicant must be board certified or board eligible in diagnostic
radiology by the American Board of Radiology.
Appointment at the Associate or full Professor (CHS) rank will
require experience and credentials for appointment at rank as
described in UW SMPH CHS Track Promotion and Appointment Guidelines
and must be reviewed by the CHS Track Promotions Committee and
approved by the Dean.
License or Certificate:
Wisconsin medical license eligible
Board certified or board eligible in diagnostic radiology.
