Head Coach: Mystics Dance Team (Part-time)
Job Description
Missouri Western State University seeks a Head Coach for the Mystics Dance Team.
This part-time position is responsible for the continued excellence and success of the MWSU Mystics Dance Team.
Will be required to attend the MWSU home football games and select basketball games.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
- Serve as coach and mentor
- Plan, organize and conduct practices
- Direct and Choreograph dances for athletic events, competitive performances and routines as scheduled
- Responsible for Management of music.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience working as a choreographer required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Communication, as applied to interaction with coworkers, administration, students and the general public.
Ability to choreograph dance events
Ability to coordinate and mentor dance team.
Preferred Qualifications
Physical Demands
Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Nights and weekend work required to attend athletic events.
Hours of Work
Varied hours. Nights and weekends required.
Pay is $5000 for the academic year.
