The Office of Admissions at Naropa University seeks a dynamic,
experienced leader to serve as Associate Director of Admissions and
Multicultural Recruitment. Serving as an advocate and point of
contact for historically underrepresented prospective students
across our undergraduate and graduate programs, the Associate
Director will work with senior leadership and other campus partners
to implement Naropa’s strategic enrollment plan, with particular
emphasis in the area of justice, equity, diversity, and inclusivity
(JEDI). The Associate Director will lead a team of professional
admissions counselors and will be responsible for managing a
diverse prospective student portfolio from inquiry to
matriculation. The selected candidate will exhibit superior
supervisory skills, customer service, and professionalism
throughout daily interactions and communications with their direct
reports and prospective students. This position will work remotely

•Meet aggressive enrollment goals
(individual and team) in accordance with Naropa’s strategic
enrollment plan, with emphasis on enrollment goals in the areas of
justice, equity, diversity, and inclusivity (JEDI).
•In partnership with the Senior Director of Admissions, faculty,
and the division of Mission, Culture, and Inclusive Community,
coordinates the full-cycle antiracist admissions process that
recruits and supports historically underrepresented students.
•Serves as the Office of Admissions representative within the JEDI
committee and participate in regular meetings.
•Manages and supports a diverse prospective student portfolio from
inquiry to matriculation through regular communication and
proactive outreach via video, phone, text, and email.
•Represents the University at various in person (regional/national)
and virtual recruitment events: school visits, college and graduate
fairs, open houses, and receptions.
•Hosts group and individual information sessions for prospective
students and their support systems via video and phone.
•Stays abreast of best practices in the support and recruitment of
historically underrepresented students via professional
development, conference attendance, and ongoing research.
•Plans and executes regional and national recruiting trips,
including scheduling, travel accommodations, budget management,
database entry, and follow-up.

admissions, recruitment, or student services/support.

•Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, CRM,
and general data base entry/management.
•Valid driver’s license unrestricted for at least 3 years, a
satisfactory driving record, and ability to drive locally and
regionally as part of work activities.
