Position Summary:
The Department of Environmental Health Science (EHS) at Eastern Kentucky University is accepting applications for a part-time faculty member for Fall 2021. The primary responsibility for the selected candidate will be teaching one or more EHS undergraduate and graduate courses related to the field of environmental health science. The department has a preference for candidates who are experienced, well-rounded EHS or MPH professionals who are also passionate educators. The candidate must have a minimum of a master's degree in environmental health, public health, occupational health, or a related discipline, and have at least 1 - 3 years of teaching and working experience in the field or related field. In addition, the department places value on having a diverse faculty with several holding professional credentials (RS, REHS, CIH). For this particular part-time opportunity, expertise and formal training related to ambient air monitoring, air toxics, industrial hygiene, and/or occupational health is desired.
