Associate Director, Enrollment Partnerships

About Northeastern:
Founded in 1898, Northeastern is a global research university and the recognized leader in experience-driven lifelong learning. Our world-renowned experiential approach empowers our students, faculty, alumni, and partners to create impact far beyond the confines of discipline, degree, and campus.

Our locations—in Boston; Charlotte, North Carolina; London; Portland, Maine; San Francisco; Seattle; Silicon Valley; Toronto; Vancouver; and the Massachusetts communities of Burlington and Nahant—are nodes in our growing global university system. Through this network, we expand opportunities for flexible, student-centered learning and collaborative, solutions-focused research.

Northeastern's comprehensive array of undergraduate and graduate programs— in a variety of on-campus and online formats—lead to degrees through the doctorate in nine colleges and schools. Among these, we offer more than 195 multi-discipline majors and degrees designed to prepare students for purposeful lives and careers.

About the Opportunity:
The Associate Director, Enrollment Partnerships role is a strategic function that sits on the Roux Institute's high-performing enrollment team and works directly and cross-functionally with our Partnerships department. Over one-third of our Maine-based student population are employees of our industry partners or are employees and recent graduates of our academic partner institutions. Growing this population through a strategic and focused effort is how we can create and support a growing pipeline of talented learners in Maine, thus helping to transform the state's economy over time.

The candidate must have experience working at a high-level with B2B partners, clients or customers and show competency communicating with and handling C-Suite level conversations. Experience working with HR Business leaders is preferred, but not necessarily required. This role is designed to expose successful candidates to multiple facets of the partnership organization including partnership development, partnership operations/execution, and partnership stewardship and growth. This is an exciting opportunity to shape, steward, and manage relationships and programs with Roux Institute partners, while connecting directly with students, and helping them best prepare for the graduate admissions process.

Day-to-day work will include meeting with Roux partners and potential partners to learn about their workforce and talent needs, and successful candidates will share information about opportunities to become involved with the Roux Institute, develop and shape programs with maximizing student impact in mind, and implement those programs with quality. Candidates can expect to report frequently on what they are learning about partners and collect, analyze, and package data to inform future programming and partnerships.

Through working with our industry and academic partners, this person's ultimate goal will be to achieve lead generation and enrollment goals directly related to our established Roux Institute Partnerships.

A bachelor's degree is required, and at least six years of experience in managing partners, clients and/or customers required, experience working with or counseling students in an educational environment and/or transferable skills is preferred as well. Customer service experience is essential. This position will require excellent organizational, interpersonal, time management and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Candidates should have database and basic reporting experience, as well as being able to work a flexible schedule that may include some weekend and early evening hours.
