About the Opportunity:
Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts is a pioneer in nanomedicine education and research, and has established one of the first Nanomedicine degree programs, in both on-ground and online formats. We invite applications from highly qualified candidates for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position with the title of Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor in Nanomedicine, and Director, Nanomedicine Certificate Degree program. This position has significant opportunity for career advancement.

Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities involve teaching up to six sections per year of nanomedicine and related courses for life, physical and health sciences, and engineering students, at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Additional duties may include oversight of course and associated laboratory curricula, planning and developing instructional programs and materials, evaluation of curricula, and moderate departmental and College service. Candidates are expected to have high aptitude and interest in teaching, and coordinate with other instructors to monitor student progress and assist students when necessary.

Qualifications:
Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent in nanomedicine, biomedical engineering, life sciences or other closely related discipline by the appointment start date, demonstrated excellence in teaching lecture courses, and excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated excellence in teaching nanomedicine related courses is preferred. Where appropriate, candidates are strongly encouraged to highlight prior achievements working with members of underrepresented groups.
