Open Rank Tenure Track Clinician Scientist
The Department of Psychiatry at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill School of Medicine is seeking an Open Rank/Tenure Track clinician scientist with expertise in Child and Adolescent Mood Disorders to develop a newly funded clinical research program. The major expectation for this position will be to develop and maintain an independent clinical research program focused on Child and Adolescent Mood Disorders within the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Applicants should have an MD, PhD or MD/PhD degree and postdoctoral training.
The successful candidate will have significant research experience relevant to Child and Adolescent Mood Disorders. Qualified candidates will have a record of relevant publications, scholarly activity and strong track record of obtaining extramural funding. The candidate should also be able to demonstrate strong clinical skills and experience working with an inter-disciplinary team, including trainees from a variety of disciples.
