Part Time Safety Assistant - PT

Position: Provide a professional influence on the McCook campus, assisting in staff development of safety and security policies. Observe facilities and conduct, interact positively with MPCC community members, maintain logs and records, assist director with training, coordinate with multiple departments on campus, assist in emergency situations, and follow direction of Area Safety and Security Director. Assist with coordination of Student Security workers schedules and help provide presence at events and functions.

Duties:

  • Create and keep student worker schedules – filling in where needed (possible night shifts)
  • Help student workers at events – being available during home games as needed.
  • Assist Area Director with Training of student workers.
  • Check in with staff and faculty throughout the week.
  • Help coordinate with Area Director for drill coordination.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required, positive attitude, maintain composure in difficult situations, and willingness to be CPR certified.
