Tenure-Track Accounting Faculty Position


Missouri State University School of Accountancy (SOA), which is separately accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position, commencing Spring or Fall 2022. Highly qualified applicants will have the ability to teach financial accounting at the graduate and undergraduate level with a secondary teaching ability in undergraduate managerial accounting or data analytics. The teaching modalities may include online, blended or face to face. The successful candidate must demonstrate the potential to meet the AACSB's scholarly academic faculty qualification status and will be expected to provide service to the SOA, College of Business, University, accounting profession and community. Duties also include a commitment to working in diverse environments and with students from diverse cultures and backgrounds.


Required Qualifications

The position requires a Ph.D. in Accounting or Business Administration from an AACSB-accredited institution with an emphasis in an accounting related field (and conferred by date of employment).
