The Schwartz Research Group at CU-Boulder encourages applications for a Postdoctoral Associate ! This position will perform research involving single molecule and single nanoparticle fluorescence microscopy to study transport in porous and non-porous energy-relevant separations materials. They will analyze and interpret the data using statistical methods and simulations, and they will prepare the results for dissemination through peer-reviewed publications. They will also help to supervise and mentor junior researchers and support general laboratory operations.
The University of Colorado Boulder is committed to building a culturally diverse community of faculty, staff, and students dedicated to contributing to an inclusive campus environment. We are an Equal Opportunity employer, including veterans and individuals with disabilities.
Who We Are
The Schwartz Research Group at CU-Boulder is broadly interested in interfacial science. We are leading the way in analyzing interfacial behavior using single-molecule techniques as well as investigating chemically modified catalysts. This includes using single-molecule imaging techniques to determine molecular behavior at solid-liquid interfaces, dynamics in confined environments, and interactions between biomolecules and surface modifications. See https://youtu.be/TOgszd0C4Gc for an introduction to what it is like being in the Schwartz Research Group.
