The NAGPRA Coordinator is a position funded by the National Park Service. Responsibilities are
1. Maintain external NAGPRA catalog and indigenous North America internal catalog.
2. Manage repatriation consultation letters and calls.
3. Identify, catalog, and rehouse NAGPRA related artifacts in the collections.
4. Manage repatriation where appropriate, legal and approved by the Director Education & Formal Training Bachelor's degree (Specify field(s) of study below) Other Education & Formal Training
Training in national standards on collections care. Bachelors’ degree in anthropology or history. Masters’ preferred in anthropology, museums, or public history. Computer Skills Word-Processing, Spreadsheet, Presentation, Desktop Publishing, Other - Collections databases Experience
Two years experience in collections management and registration required, In a University setting preferred.
Two years experience with formal registration procedures and accession standards.
One year experience supervising undergraduate students.

Preferred:
Three years experience and/or training in public and private sector, experience with ethnographic or archaeological collections, and knowledge of indigenous North American cultures and peoples.
