Job Summary

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Facilities Operations, this position manages and maintains Tarrant County College District’s Computerized Maintenance Management System ( CMMS ) and Fuel Management System ( FMS ). Responsible for the overall management of the request work order management, fuel management, preventative maintenance program, warehouse inventory management, application management, and database management.

This leadership position is responsible for ensuring accuracy and consistency of the data and provides training for efficient and effective use of the systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Performance Requirements
• Manages and maintains College’s Computerized Maintenance Management System ( CMMS ) and Fuel Management System ( FMS )
• Manages and maintains College’s iServiceDesk Work Request System, programs/updates web page contents and creates/modifies departmental service forms as necessary
• Continues the expansion of the Operation’s Preventative Maintenance Program; including planning, organizing, and configuration of the PM program for equipment, vehicles, grounds, rooms, buildings, and facilities
• Develops, plans, tests, executes, and implements CMMS modules and assist with other RE&F program applications as necessary
• Configures, tests, and coordinates with IT team and/or system vendor in troubleshooting server, system, database, or application related issues
• Performs upgrades regularly to stay abreast of the upcoming version or patch release
• Works with end-users to address functional issues and resolve problems
• Manages and maintains system user, approver, requestor, technician, and group profiles and permissions
• Composes workflow processes and training documentations
• Schedules and provides system and device training classes for faculty and staff
• Enforces standard business processes and maintains integrity and consistency of the CMMS data

General Supervision and Management
• Manages proper creation, posting labor & material, and closure of the work orders and other relevant data in the system
• Manages setup, automation, and optimization of reports utilized for trending and operations
• Manages the creation of maintenance KPI metrics and customized queries/reports to the management team
• Manages and maintains existing dashboard and customized queries/reports
• Manages area alignment to align facility, building, and room records in WebTMA, Datatel Colleague, and Ad Astra

Service Excellence
• Participates on behalf of the College in external community organizations and associations
• Attends the workplace regularly and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
• Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College ( TCC )
• Supports the values of the College: diversity, teaching excellence, student success, innovation and creativity and service to the College
• Supports the mission, values and 3 goals and 8 principles of the College

Performs other related tasks as required.

SUPERVISION – Works under the general supervision of the Assistant Director of Facilities Operations

Required Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensures

• Bachelor’s degree
• Five (5) years of working experience in facility management, business management, database management, application management, and/or computer information technology fields
• Two (2) years of directly related experience in database software and programming
• One (1) year of work related experience in application programs such as SQL Server Management Studio, Crystal Report, Toad for SQL Server Xpert, IIS, MS Visio, MS Office Suites, Smartsheet, and Microsoft SQL Server
• One (1) year of supervising employees (e.g., managing and evaluation performance of others)

Desired Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensures

• Master’s degree
• Six (6) years of experience with a computerized maintenance management system
• Four (4) or more years of management experience in a supervisory role

Knowledge, Skills and Ability

• Experienced with data integration, data analytic, and data visualization tools
• Experience in providing trainings and composing training documentations/manuals
• Ability to use a diagram and graphic software to develop/create visually impacted business process flows
• Ability to establish ODBC connections to interact with data sources
• Ability to organize data in a logical format for system import
• Ability to write SQL scripts to insert/update data
• Ability to program and modify webpages using JavaScript, HTML, DHTML, and CSS
• Responsible for managing the CMMS Team
