Overview  

The Information Systems and Analytics (ISA) Department of the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University invites applications for tenure-track positions beginning Fall 2022. These multiple positions are for the rank of assistant professor in the areas of Information Systems, Analytics, and Operations. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until positions are filled.

 

Basic Qualifications

 

We see this specialization as falling at the intersection of information systems, business analytics, and operations management, so applicants should possess a foundation in these disciplines and deep expertise in one or more. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Information Systems, Operations Management, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field. 

 

Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated excellence in research and teaching, embrace the Silicon Valley spirit, and have the expertise or willingness to teach/develop various courses. In addition, we encourage applications from candidates who will contribute to the diversity of our college community, including members of historically underrepresented groups.

 

Responsibilities

 

Maintaining a program of research leading to publications in high-quality journals.

Teaching graduate and/or undergraduate courses and fulfilling the responsibilities associated with those courses.

Providing suitable service to the department, university, profession, and/or community.

 

Salary and Housing Assistance

 

Salaries are competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. About the ISA Department

 

The ISA department offers both Information Systems and Business Analytics programs at the undergraduate and master’s levels and contributes courses to MBA and other graduate programs at Santa Clara University. The ISA faculty’s scholarship encompasses several areas of Information Systems, Operations Management, and Computer Science. ISA faculty research appears in leading publication outlets, such as Management Science, MISQ, Information Systems Research, Operations Research, MSOM, POM, IEEE/ACM Transactions, and receives external funding.
