Description
The Gary W. Rollins College of Business at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Marketing at the Assistant/Associate level beginning August 2022. Salary and benefits are competitive with peer institutions. Responsibilities include teaching nine credit hours per semester (three courses); research leading to quality refereed journal publications; and service at the Department-, College- and/or University-level. The Gary W. Rollins College of Business at UTC has long-standing AACSB accreditation at the undergraduate and graduate levels, serves approximately 2,400 students, and has a highly productive, collegial faculty.

Qualifications
Applicants must possess a Ph.D. or DBA in Marketing, or closely related field, from an AACSB-accredited business school or be in the ABD stage of their doctoral studies with expected completion of the Ph.D. prior to this position’s start date of August 2022.

Candidates with research training and expertise in either marketing research / analytics or digital marketing are preferred for this position. The strongest candidates will possess demonstrated past success in, or high potential for, exemplary teaching of: (i) digital marketing or marketing analytics; and (ii) marketing research. Other teaching assignments are possible at either the undergraduate or graduate level, based on departmental or college needs.

Demonstrated ability to provide quality instruction through a variety of teaching and delivery modalities (including online) is required. Successful candidates will also be expected to make service contributions based on the needs and strategic priorities of either: (i) the Dept. of Marketing & Entrepreneurship; (ii) the Rollins College of Business; and/or (iii) UTC itself.
