Administrative Exemption

Fiscal Year - FT Contract

Position Function

Work with current BSU Property Management ( PMGT ) faculty to promote the Property Management program to Indiana High Schools.

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution by date of appointment.

Minimum Experience

Industry experience in program promotions.

Minimum Other

Self-motivated with strong desire to advance and build enrollment in Property Management program; digitally savvy; ability to work with an alumni/industry board.

Authorization to work in the US

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Education

Preferred Experience

Industry experience in service industry-sales/marketing background; experience in professional creative use with relevant digital platforms/social media and digital marketing.

Preferred Other

Evidence of professional activity as evidenced by attendance/involvement in professional organizations and meetings, significant experience and involvement with segments of the Indiana property management sector.

Pre-Employment Screening

Requires successful completion of a background check and education verification.

Duties & Responsibilities



Job Duty

Represent the program virtually on web sites, blogs and email, and in person at on and off campus venues to prospective students, parents, secondary school counselors and other individuals or organizations involved in the college selection process.



Job Duty

Coordinate high school recruitment visits and promotion related activities with the campus’ Admissions Office.



Job Duty

Develop and implement a strategic recruiting plan to increase program enrollment.



Job Duty

Identify and maintain contact with high school and college personnel responsible for scheduling on-site visits.



Job Duty

Generate ongoing strategic communications with high schools, independent counselors, parents, and prospective students, including email, print, and other media.



Job Duty

Present updates on recruiting efforts and accomplishments to the PM advisory board.



Job Duty

Design and distribute marketing materials such as hard collateral, videos, social media, etc.



Job Duty

Work with PM student association members and PM faculty to create an awareness campaign and on-campus recruiting events for current BSU students.



Job Duty

Partner with technical and community colleges and the Director of BSU Transfer Center to access prospective transfer students.



Job Duty

Present to career and academic counselors; attend career day opportunities. Host events in Weidner Center or elsewhere on campus to create awareness for the PM program and recruit students.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
