Position Summary:
Monmouth University is seeking applications for a Systems Administrator in the Information Operations department.

The candidate would be expected to: ensure compliance with established standards, policies and configuration guidelines. Implement and monitor user access control methods; install, configure and maintain technical systems to support business requirements; maintain up-to-date documentation on configurations, operational procedures and hardware and software inventories; maintain VMWare environment with security patches and regular upgrades; troubleshoot, diagnose and correct systems to ensure functional objectives of the business are met; fully administrate SharePoint 2013/2016; perform regular patches, ensuring proper access for accounts, and assist with end-user issues; maintain the CommVault backup system with patches/upgrades/optimizations; ensure ALL critical IT data is protected with on-site and off-site non-mutable copies; ensure off-site data moves off-site on schedule; install and monitor user security, including the use of Microsoft group policies with Advanced Group Policy Management.

Preferred Qualifications:
MCSE SharePoint certification. Any RedHat, Linux+, LPIC certifications. Windows Server administration (2012-2019) certification. Intermediate Powershell experience.

VMWare vCenter certification/experience. CommVault software certification/experience. Microsoft Office365 and Azure experience. Exchange 2016/2019 experience/certification. Skype for Business Server and/or Microsoft Teams administration experience.

Familiarity with network filesystems (iSCSI, SMB), PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS, JQuery, XML, InfoPath, Visual Studio. Familiarity with Dell PowerEdge and SuperMicro servers.
