Position Summary:
Perform a wide variety of administrative support functions at the Kimberly Research & Extension Center; apply detailed program knowledge and applications in developing and maintaining program records systems, and/or in collecting information, preparing reports, and providing liaison between management, other organizational units, and external customers; provide information on University and Human Resource policies, procedures, and required trainings to faculty and staff, assists faculty in coordinating various workshops, conferences, and other educational programs; perform related work in developing, preparing, producing, and distributing, in final form, a high volume and variety of correspondence and documents containing business, technical, scientific, statistical, administrative, and standard information relating to these programs.

Minimum Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED · Experience with: office support functions including word processing, spreadsheets, electronic and hard-copy filing, composing a variety of business documents, reception, and customer service.· Experience gathering and compiling data for reports.· Experience balancing and coordinating a workload for multiple projects.· Experience working well with others and displaying a professional attitude in dealing with people.· Minimum 2 years of experience in an office environment.


Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience using advanced functions of OneDrive, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and other software for word processing and database management.· Ability to: edit and proofread material for correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar.· Set up and keyboard in final form a variety of technical, difficult material such as statistical or scientific reports and other various documents.· Knowledge of: university policies and procedures; and good phone etiquette and multi-line phone system.· Experience with: university software including Banner, PeopleAdmin, Chrome River, BB Learn and SiteCore.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
· Must be able to lift, carry and/or otherwise move materials weighing up to 25 lbs.· Must be able to work in adverse environmental conditions (dusty, hot, or cold conditions outdoors) to obtain documents from other buildings and the pick-up/distribution of the mail and/or packages.
