Description
Responsibilities: Directs the effective operation of nursing simulation lab technology. Assures an effective schedule for class and individual student utilization of the Clinical Simulation Learning Center (e.g. skills competency check-offs, simulations, skills lab hours, etc.), working collaboratively with nursing faculty and administration. Serves as the primary point of contact for technologies in simulation labs. Using effective pedagogic and andragogic teaching techniques, provides simulation lab technology training to students and faculty, in both didactic and experiential training venues.
Minimum Requirements:
  1. A bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required. A Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited university is preferred.
  2. Employment experience in a clinical simulation education lab or related/equivalent experience is required. Prefer experience in technology management and student/faculty training and support.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (word processing, database, spreadsheet, e-mail, presentation graphics, etc.) is required.
  4. Proficiency in general office equipment operation is required.
  5. Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
