Creates photographs of a variety of topics and events. Uses originality, talent, and imagination to produce the desired photographic results. Responsible for visually illustrating campus life by meeting the still photographic needs of the University and assisting in the production of photo presentations for promotional and informational use by the University. Manages the archival process for all photographs on Zenfolio. Takes or assigns photos at all major university events. Manages all assigned photography equipment and resources. Provides guidance and training to assigned student photographers. Occasional travel, evening and/or weekend work is required.
Minimum Requirements:
1. A High School diploma or GED is required. Some college coursework is preferred.
2. A minimum of one (1) year employment experience in professional photography is required.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (word processing, database, spreadsheet, e-mail, presentation graphics, etc.) required.
4. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Adobe Photoshop Pro is required.
5. Must be proficient in general office equipment operation.
6. Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
7. Must be at least 21 years of age.
8. Must possess a valid Texas driver's license and be insurable by UMHB auto insurance carrier.
