The Department of Behavioral Science in the College of Health Sciences of Midwestern University, Downers Grove campus, invites applications for a Director of Clinical Training in the APA-accredited Psy.D. Program.  The Director of Clinical Training (DCT) has oversight of all aspects of the Program’s clinical training at the practicum and internship level.  This includes individualized student advisement, placement and competency-based evaluation, as well as site development and evaluation.  The DCT develops and implements the Program’s clinical training policies and procedures, in consultation with the Program Director, the Assistant Director of Training, and Program faculty. This person reports to the Clinical Psychology Program Director. Well qualified applicants will have served in administrative roles related to clinical training and be up to date on professional standards of accreditation as they relate to clinical training. Applicants should have earned a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an APA accredited program and be licensed or license eligible as a clinical psychologist in the State of Illinois. All faculty within the Clinical Psychology Program have responsibilities in teaching, scholarship and service. A record of prior teaching experience, scholarly productivity, and professional service will enhance the candidate’s application.  This is a full-time, tenure-track position.  Rank is at the Assistant Professor level or commensurate with experience.
