Position Summary:

A Research Services Manager will be hired to work under the supervision of the Principal Investigators, Dr. Dave O'Connor, Dr. Shelby O'Connor, and Dr. Thomas Friedrich, to coordinate the multitude of activities necessary to successfully execute this project. The successful applicant will have the ability to interface at a high level with scientific staff.

This position requires coordination of activities between academic, clinical, and public health laboratories at five locations in the Upper Midwest, as well as with other Rockfeller-funded Regional Accelerator programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day execution of all Regional Accelerator activities. They will ensure compliance with all necessary regulatory aspects of the project, as well as administering subcontracts and consulting agreements. They will be responsible for writing and coordinating the submission of progress reports. This position requires an experienced scientist in order to understand the research needs and to facilitate the communication between groups.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Required Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in biomedical or social science, healthcare or related field.

Preferred Education:
- Master's or Ph.D.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Required Experience:
- More than 2 years of research experience.

Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in clinical research and familiarity with complex regulatory topics (e.g., IRB protocols).

Desired Attributes:
- The ability to successfully execute complex projects independently.
