Assistant Director of Admissions

Skidmore College, a selective liberal arts college of approximately 2500 undergraduate students located in Saratoga Springs, NY, invites applications for the position of Assistant Director of Admissions.

We seek a person with at least a Bachelor’s degree and a strong commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

This person will participate in all aspects of a comprehensive undergraduate admissions program, including travel, interviewing, candidate selection, and special projects. The person in this position will work closely with other staff members on programs related to diversity initiatives. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are essential. Integrity, energy, thoughtfulness, enthusiasm, and a strong understanding of the values of a liberal arts college are necessary for success in this role. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently, yet seek and appreciate the benefits of colleagueship derived from working on a team of admissions professionals. Application review will begin immediately with an anticipated start date of early July.

Resume listing three references should accompany an application letter and the on-line application.

Employment at Skidmore College is contingent upon an acceptable background check result.
