EDMS: 529 Science, Health and Physical Education Minimum Degree Requirements A Masters degree in Education or a related field from an accredited institution. Required Qualifications Minimum of three years of recent and relevant full time teaching experience in culturally and linguistically diverse settings.
Appropriate academic preparation for specific course content.
Record of high quality teaching and commitment to student success.
As a condition of employment, this position will require a background check. The person holding this position is considered a 'mandated reporter' under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and is required to comply with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083 as a condition of employment. Preferred Qualifications Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in education or a related field.
Evidence of knowledge and use of research-based practices for teaching in the appropriate field or content area.
Evidence of recent and relevant effective university teaching.
