Position Description / Responsibilities Seeking qualified candidates who can supervise student teachers in diverse early childhood settings (preschool/primary). Minimum Degree Requirements A Masters degree from an accredited institution in Early Childhood Studies or a related field. Required Qualifications Specific academic coursework in the foundations of Early Childhood Studies and the scope of curriculum models in Early Childhood programming and field experience methods and supports.

Specific academic coursework and demonstrated knowledge of early literacy, mathematics, and integrated curriculum learning in different programs and classroom configurations preschool to second grade.

Minimum of three years as a full time lead teacher in programs for children 3 through age 8 in culturally and linguistically diverse settings.

Preferred Qualifications Doctorate degree from an accredited institution in Early Childhood Studies, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Curriculum and Instruction or a related field.

Evidence of effective teaching with university students.

Evidence of coaching experience in early childhood settings.
