Position Primary Purpose and General Responsibilities
The School of Nursing is seeking a Project Coordinator to manage and provide oversight to the day-to-day operations of specific projects with the Richmond Health and Wellness Program. The Project Coordinator will collaborate closely with the Richmond Health and Wellness Program ( RHWP ), Health Hub and VCUH sites as well as other community-based agencies to complete projects.

Specific responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting with the development, implementation, and evaluation of the telehealth/wellness and outcomes evaluation for RHWP as well as other projects as assigned.
  • Lead efforts in developing and maintaining processes and procedures, data base analytics for the projects.
  • Assist with cost and health service utilization outcomes, program and student evaluation of the RHWP program.
  • The Project Coordinator will assist the Associate Dean for Practice and Community Engagement in the preparation of reports, coordinate and attend meetings and serve as liaison across RHWP, the Health System and community.
  • Interface with the program participants participating in the TeleWellness Project, assisting with managing equipment and addressing barriers and challenges to implementation at the program participant level.
  • Work closely with the RHWP office administrator and research coordinator to provide a team approach to program implementation.




This is a restricted position. The employee understands that the continuation of this position depends on the continuation of grant funding. Minimum Hiring Standards
  • Bachelors degree in related field.
  • Competent in Excel
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in interprofessional teams
  • Excellent judgment and discretion regarding confidential information
  • Ability to work independently and meet timelines
  • Demonstrated experience working with in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, student and community participant environment and commitment to do so as a staff member at VCU .
Preferred Hiring Standards
  • Masters in related field or PhD preferred
  • Experience with project management
  • Preferred statistical programming experience, either SAS or SPSS .
