Reporting to the Director of Graduate Admissions, the Graduate
Admissions Counselor performs significant admissions and recruiting
functions necessary to accomplish graduate student enrollment
goals. The incumbent participates in all aspects of
admissions and recruitment work including, but not limited to: the
representation of the University to diverse audiences, planning and
implementing recruitment strategies and activities in all aspects
of recruitment both regionally and nationally; application review
process of applicant credentials seeking admission; travel
regionally for college and university visits; inquiry/prospect
management; and correspondence.
