Assistant or Associate Professor (Open Rank), Physical Therapy
The Department of Physical Therapy in the School of Health & Human Sciences at Indiana University in Indianapolis invites applications for a 10-month tenure-track faculty position. The successful applicant will be responsible for developing an active research agenda, teaching in their area of expertise within an entry-level DPT program, and professional and university service. Faculty rank and salary commensurate with experience and academic credentials. The position is a 10-month appointment with research start-up funds available.
- Academic doctorate degree (DPT, PhD, EdD, ScD); PhD preferred
- Licensure as a physical therapist, or eligibility for a physical therapy license in the state of Indiana
- A record of success in research, teaching, and service in the applicant’s area of expertise
Additional Preferred Experiences:
- Post-doctoral research training
- Clinical specialization
- Demonstrated evidence of success in research through peer-reviewed publications and presentations and grants
- Developed programmatic line of research aligned with or complementary to the School of Health and Human Sciences
- Demonstrated potential to secure independent external funding with collaborative research experience in the health sciences and related fields.
