Adjunct Faculty, Office of Clinical Practice and Teacher Placement
Clinical Practice Supervisor - to teach Clinical Practice/Field Courses for Pre-Service Teachers. Major responsibilities include supervising, observing, assessing and providing relevant feedback to pre-service students on classroom performance; teaching developmental skills related to planning, instruction and assessment aligned with edTPA; and completing all additional responsibilities and tasks deemed necessary by the Dean. C andidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a highly qualified teacher and hold a certificate in the related field of expertise. Administrative experience and an active School Administrator or Supervisor Certificate from the NJ Department of Education are highly desirable . Courses are to be taught in-person at the Union and Ocean campus and at other off-site locations.
All adjunct positions require a Master’s degree in a related field and teaching experience unless otherwise indicated; candidates with an ABD, Ed.D., Ph.D. or other acceptable disciplinary doctorate are encouraged to apply. Proficiency in a Learning Management System is required, consistent with University guidelines.
