Position Summary:

The Wisconsin Reading Center (WRC), formally the Fundus Photograph Reading Center, seeks a collaborative individual to manage quality assurance needs of clinical research studies. The WRC is a core lab within the Department of Ophthalmology. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring clinical processes are followed in accordance with guidelines and regulations. Develops, performs, and manages quality assurance activities. Presides over audits conducted on the WRC.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in a scientific discipline; quality assurance professional certification is a preferred.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

- Attention to detail with an ability to detect and correct errors/inconsistencies in various types of documents required
- Experience developing clinical quality assurance standard operating procedures (SOPs) required

- Previous internal auditor training, such as training in ISO 9001:2015 is preferred.
- Previous experience managing quality system(s) is preferred.
- Experience with FDA or other Regulatory Inspections of Investigator sites, Sponsors or CROs preferred.
