The Center for Environmental Studies ( CES ) is a VCU Charter Center that offers B.S., M.S., and M. ENVS degrees and participates in the Integrative Life Sciences PhD program. CES has facilities in the Trani Life Sciences Center. The Center’s 14 full-time faculty teach over 300 undergraduate and graduate majors and conduct internationally-recognized research on topics including natural resource economics, biogeochemistry of wetland ecosystems, and landscape genomics.

Required Qualifications

At least a Masters-level degree in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Studies, or another related field. In lieu of a terminal degree, equivalent years of experience in an environmental field may be considered. Strong oral presentation and communication skills are required.

Preferred Qualifications

Applications from individuals with experience in teaching and/or conducting research at the University level will be preferred.
