The Department of Psychology at the University of Houston seeks to hire a Research Scientist to implement research procedures within a school district for a funded grant project. UH is a Carnegie-Designated Tier One Public Research University. The successful applicant will be asked to p articipate in intervention and assessment activities, coordinate with members of the research team and interact with school district research partners to further research goals. Applicants should have a degree in Special Education or a related field . Experience delivering reading interventions in high poverty settings and administering psychoeducational assessments is preferred. This position is for one year, with the possibility of renewal.

Qualifications :

Degree in Special Education or a related field. Masters preferred.

Experience delivering reading interventions in high poverty settings and administering psychoeducational assessments is preferred.
