Sarah Lawrence College seeks applicants for the position of Academic Support Coordinator in the Office of the Provost.  The Academic Support Coordinator reports to both the Director of Faculty Affairs and the Director of Administration, Graduate & Professional Studies. This important position provides support for the academic arm of the college with a designated portfolio of responsibilities in the area of Graduate and Professional Studies.

 

Job Duties

The Academic Support Coordinator plays a key role in the coordination and facilitation of faculty searches and supports the new faculty onboarding process; plays a key role in committee and meeting coordination including providing administrative support; and is responsible for student-focused data management and thesis coordination and management among other duties.

 

Required Qualifications

A successful candidate will be someone with excellent writing, communication and organizational skills, and has the ability to multitask and prioritize.  The Academic Support Coordinator should be able to work both independently and collaboratively with others as the work demands and is a consummate professional with the ability to problem solve, manage a team of people, and delegate as needed.
