Position Summary:

The candidate will be engaged in the support of cutting edge neuroimaging research studies in early Alzheimer's disease and aging within the Alzheimer's Disease Research Center Biomarker Core. This position requires analytic thinking and the ability to apply technical innovation to clinically relevant problems.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree in psychology, neuroscience or other life science or quantitative science discipline required.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

- Experience with data quality concepts is strongly preferred
- Experience scripting computer code is preferred
- Familiarity with file systems including permissions, data organization and common tools to monitor and transfer data between servers/sites is preferred
- Experience with querying databases is preferred
- Familiarity with brain anatomy is preferred
- Familiarity with image analysis software and methods is preferred

Additional Information:

The applicant should have the flexibility to work both independently and cooperatively, and should understand research data, objectives and analyses. Excellent attention to detail, and strong documentation, organizational and interpersonal skills required. Ability to communicate effectively, diplomatically, and in a culturally-sensitive way, in written and verbal forms with faculty, researchers, staff, and students at all levels is required. Applicants prior work experience should demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, maturity, and flexibility. There will be ample on the job training.
