Position Summary:

The Coordinating Editor/Laboratory Manager has a dual role in the Zanni Research Group. Under the direction of Professor Martin Zanni, the position will provide advanced editorial project management services for the Journal of Physical Chemistry. In addition, the position will manage the day-to-day activities of the Zanni Research Group, carry out experiments as needed, and assist with grants management.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelors degree in Chemistry or related field required. Advanced degree in Chemistry or related field preferred.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

A minimum of one year of chemistry or similar laboratory research experience is preferred. A minimum of one year of project management or editorial assistant experience is preferred.

Scientific content knowledge of chemistry or related field is required. Familiarity with the preparation of grant proposals, preferred. The successful incumbent will be attentive to detail and will have strong technical writing, organization, management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
