Job Summary

The Maintenance Mechanic will perform assigned preventive maintenance work orders and breakdown or corrective work orders. The majority of work will be the area of emphasis on fire alarm preventative maintenance, HVAC air filters, and emergency or routine calls. The Maintenance Mechanic will assist in snow removal as needed and with other trades as needed.

Required Qualifications

5 years of commercial type electrical installation, troubleshooting and repair experience
5 years of commercial fire alarm systems experience with Johnson Controls (Simplex) Fire Alarm Systems

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of computer/communications networks
Experience with Building Automation Systems preferably Johnson Controls Metasys system and/or Automated Logic brand
HVAC, Plumbing, & Carpentry experience
