The department is establishing a pool of applicants to fill potential part-time temporary teaching positions and full-time visiting faculty position openings. (Please note: FT Visiting positions are rare and they should not be the sole purpose for your application.)

Major Responsibilities

A classroom based 3 credit hour course pays $3000 per class.The department typically hires for the courses/subject areas listed below but this list is not all inclusive. Other courses/subject areas may become available within the department. ILLUSTRATIVE NEEDS INCLUDE :

FSA 535 – Alternative/Augmentative Communication and Assistive Technology for Students with Severe or Multiple Disabilities
FSA 600: Inclusive Education Pedagogy
FSA 610: Inclusive Education Assessments
FSA 615 – Assessment for Adolescents with Disabilities
FSA 620 – Discipline and Social Skill Development
FSA 625 – Inclusive Curricular Pedagogy for Adolescents with Disabilities
FSA 630 – Students with Disabilities in Context
FSA 683 – Administration of Special Education
EDL 613: Principles of Financial Leadership
EDL 615: Educational Leadership and the Law
EDL 616: Principles of Curriculum Leadership
EDL 656: School Finance

Functional and Supervisory Relationships

Reports to academic department chair.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in foundations of education, inclusive education, educational leadership or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Terminal degree preferred.
