Job Description:

The Digital Marketing and Content Manager position at WSRE is a professional/managerial position requiring excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices. The Digital Marketing and Content Manager will develop and execute social media and digital marketing strategies and tactics to drive viewership and support using PBS brand standards to create digital content. Job responsibilities include the design and maintenance of the station’s website, incorporating video streaming; writing landing pages, email newsletters and social media campaigns consistent in look, feel and purpose with other marketing efforts; and tracking and reporting analytics across digital platforms. On specific occasions, the position may be required to work at events on nights and/or weekends. This position reports to the Director, Marketing and Communications, WSRE.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor's degree, and two years’ experience in design, development and maintenance of a website required; OR High school diploma or GED, and six years progressively responsible experience in website content management, web design, web programming or comparable industry may substitute for required degree and experience. Successful results of a criminal background check are required.

Pursuant to College policy, it is an employment eligibility requirement for an applicant to meet the requirements of § 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations. Any person failing to meet the requirements of the statute will be deemed not qualified to hold employment in this position. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of employment, and any person who fails to disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application will be disqualified from employment.

SALARY RANGE: $34,320.00 - $48,880.00
