Job Description:
The Psychology Department at Weber State University ( invites applications for a tenure-track position in Clinical/Counseling Psychology at the Assistant Professor rank.

Job Duties:
Candidates should have the ability to teach the following courses: Introduction to Psychology, Psychology of Human Relationships, Abnormal Psychology, Child and Adolescent Psychopathology, and Theories of Personality.

Required Qualifications:
Minimal requirements are a PhD or PsyD by the appointment date, July 1, 2022 in clinical, counseling, or school psychology. Strong ABDs will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates with licensure or ability to attain licensure in Utah and who are committed to teaching excellence, engaging undergraduates in research and practicum experiences, engaging with the university and local community, and equity, diversity, and inclusion. We desire candidates from underrepresented groups and who have experience working with diverse student and community populations.

Visual Acuity Requirements including color, depth perception and field of vision: Required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; using a computer terminal; extensive reading.
