• Bachelor’s degree.

• 2 years research related experience.

• Minimum Education Qualification can be substituted with an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. Preferred qualifications:
Preference will be given to individuals who possess :
• Master’s degree.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Extremely organized, able to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Maintains and understands the importance of professionalism and confidentiality concerning HR and company matters.
• Comfortable with data and have an interest in improving team & department analytics.
• A team player. You are willing to help out wherever needed.
• Self-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with a burning desire to contribute to MCCKC’s success. You do not get overwhelmed easily.
• Coordination of research projects and data reporting.
• Two years FT Research experience.
• Ability to work in cross functional teams across district. Work Hours
Normally scheduled Monday through Friday; however, may be required to work other shifts to include evenings and/or weekends. Schedule subject to change based upon department needs. The incumbents collect, analyze, and report data for student or academic program and services.

Typical Essential Duties

• Collects, analyzes, and reviews data to facilitate Federal and institutional reporting; submits data and reports to appropriate personnel, departments, and/or agencies to support management decision making, to provide timely and accurate information to administration, and facilitate other departmental operations.
• Designs and administers surveys to students and other relevant parties; work may involve utilizing statistical techniques to consolidate and analyze data, and designing, developing, and producing analytical reports.
• Collaborates with other departments and employees to design and conduct studies related to local research projects, student tracking, assessment outcomes, program evaluation, academic programs, enrollment trends, and student employment.
• Prepares and distributes internal and external ad hoc data requests; coordinates with applicable parties to collect information.
• Manages and updates software systems and databases; work may involve developing and maintaining systems for organizing and reporting current and historical data; contacting appropriate personnel, departments, or agencies to collect updated information; tracking program and other information changes; and scheduling data requests and reminders.
• Collaborates with and/or serves as a liaison to other institutions or agencies, to facilitate research projects, implement data changes and input methods to maintain data integrity; and facilitate related departmental operations.
• Attends committee meetings to represent the Institutional Research department as a subject matter expert and communicate information regarding findings; and may also performs duties of the Executive Director of Institutional Research when required.
• Stays abreast of and interprets federal and state policies and decide what changes needed to be implemented.
• Utilizes analytics and data visualization software to provide insights for data reporting through dashboard design.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
