The Financial Analyst for Grants and Restricted Funds is a key member of the Controller’s Office and grants administration team at the College. As part of the grants administration team, the Financial Analyst works with the Office of Sponsored Research and faculty researchers on pre-award grant proposals and budget development, and with the Post-Award Grants & Contracts Senior Analyst in the Controller’s Office on post-award grant management. The position also assists with various accounting duties associated with restricted gifts and endowment funds. The position is highly visible and dynamic requiring excellent communication, organization and time management skills.

Education/Skills Requirements

A bachelor’s degree is strongly desired; will consider a combination of associate’s degree and relevant experience. Accounting experience and/or experience with grant management preferred. Candidates should possess strong analytical, organization, and interpersonal skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word).

Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents

Position requires 1 year of grants administrative experience; preferably in higher education. Familiarity with Financial Edge and Workday a plus.

Standard Work Days and Hours

Generally, Monday – Friday; between 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. This position has the ability to range from 32 – 40 hours per week, depending on the needs of the candidate and the College.
