N/A Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this position is to serve on a team that is responsible for the completion of software development projects in the Business Applications area. Business Applications encompasses Human Resources, University Finance, Payroll as well as other related areas.

This position includes a full range of technical responsibilities including the design, development, testing, and subsequent roll-out of moderate to complex software applications. Ongoing support and maintenance, user consultation, and team support are common.

This is technical and analytical work in developing, designing, and/or analyzing technical solutions for clients through an appropriate blending of technical knowledge and business solutions. Employees participate in the development of solutions using programming expertise for day-to-day problems to include maintenance, modification, or development of complex inter-related applications/solutions. Duties include client needs assessment as well as frequent communication with Business Analysts to clarify project scope. The position must be sensitive to (or understand) the diverse perspectives of stakeholders and work with them to resolve differences. Suggested Salary Range Hiring Range: $61,252 - $77,000 Physical Demands of Position
Typical physical demands of a professional position within a university, including a predominance of computer workstation use. Thus applicants must be able to spend long periods of time at a workstation. Other tasks are performed in an office setting, which requires the ability to perform normal office functions such as, telephone communications, filing, etc. It may, however, include light lifting (with or without reasonable accommodation), etc. to store office supplies or to prepare for training programs or special projects that require delivery of training materials or movement of tables, chairs, or other light furniture.
