Global & Intercultural Studies: Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor to begin August 2021. The Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor will primarily teach undergraduate courses in American Studies with an opportunity to teach other interdisciplinary courses in the department: Asian/Asian American Studies; Critical Race and Ethnic Studies; Global and Intercultural Studies; International Studies; Latin American, Latina/o, and Caribbean Studies; and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. The fall semester schedule would include an Introduction to American Studies for International students as part of the American Culture and English program, a course on Immigrant America, and an Introduction to Global and Intercultural Studies.

Required: Ph.D. for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor by date of appointment or Master’s degree for Instructor. The position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship.
