About the Opportunity:
The Manager of Enrollment provides strategic direction and oversight for the recruitment, admission and enrollment process for students within the Roux Institute. The Manager of Enrollment will lead an Enrollment team using advanced and innovative recruitment technology and techniques and is ultimately responsible for achieving enrollment goals. The individual in this role will serve as a direct supervisor and will have a strong focus on coaching and supporting team members, customer service, relationship management throughout the NU network, process development and escalating questions and learnings from the market.

Responsibilities:
The major responsibilities of this position include: monitoring daily enrollment activities; ensuring the team's schedule is in line with business needs and conducting on-going system and customer service training for Enrollment Counselors and Assistant Directors of Enrollment. Conduct follow up communication with prospects, applicants and newly admitted students; review and make decisions on admissions applications; assist newly admitted students with the selection and registration of their first course enrollment; maintain information on student interactions in Salesforce; participate in open houses, information sessions, on-line chats, and recruitment events. Prioritize tasks for members of the enrollment team; taking lead on escalated student issues; ensuring that enrollment service metrics are being met and student feedback is being provided to the unit during regular check ins. The incumbent will be engaged in long-term planning and evaluation, as well as resource assessment and management.

The Manager of Enrollment will work closely with members of the marketing team to ensure that scheduled communication tracks are accurately reflecting prospective student engagement. The individual in this position will be required to establish regular meetings with leaders of other departments within the Roux Institute to develop and maintain enrollment strategies and provide continual assessment of service trends and needs. The Manager of Enrollment will maintain an ongoing relationship with Academic Deans and Program Directors to stay abreast on current program information and to ensure admissions decisions are being made and communicated in a timely manner. The incumbent will manage the administration of the Alfond Scholars Initiative to ensure accuracy and transparency. The incumbent will be a team player with a strong work ethic who exemplifies the values of the institution and thrives in a high volume, fast-paced environment. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively across units and sensitivity and responsiveness to the needs of diverse constituencies required.

Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree is required, master's degree preferred, and three to four years of experience in managing a team required; experience counseling students in an educational environment and/or transferable skills is preferred. Customer service experience is essential. This position will require excellent organizational, interpersonal, time management and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast pace environment. Candidates should have database and basic reporting experience, as well as being able to work a flexible schedule that includes some weekend and early evening hours.
