Michigan Technological University’s Department of Mechanical Engineering-Engineering Mechanics (ME-EM) invites applications for a non-tenure-track lecturer position. We seek candidates with expertise in mechanical engineering in general, particularly in lean manufacturing, additive manufacturing, quality engineering, and CAD/CAM/CAE. Basic functions and responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate mechanical engineering courses, and can include serving on committees, conducting outreach activities, and assisting with department assessment.

Required qualifications are a PhD in mechanical engineering or closely related field and should include classroom teaching experience, and demonstrated organizational skills.

For full consideration, complete application packages should be received by October 1, 2021; however, applications will be considered until the position is filled.
