Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Study of Gut Microbiota and Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) in the Department of Medicine and the State Key Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (Ref.: 504625), to commence as soon as possible for one to three years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree, preferably in Biology or a related discipline, with experience in human, mouse and molecular experiments. Preference will be given to those with a strong background in molecular biology and/or experience in multi-omics analysis. They should be responsible, organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team. The appointee will work on an applied research project to explore the role of microbial species in the progression of NAFLD.
