Oregon Tech is seeking applications for a Visiting Instructor Software/CS in the Department of Computer Systems Engineering Technology. This is a 9-month, full-time position located on the Location campus in Location, Oregon. The primary duties for this position is in the instruction of our students. The CSET Department is the place for you if you want to teach in an environment where you can engage with students and colleagues as part of a dynamic academic community; make a difference in students’ lives every day; and be a part of team of dedicated faculty. Candidates must have a strong desire to teach and possess the ability to teach courses from Introduction to Programming (C++) through upper-division courses. Specific areas of expertise that are preferred (but not required) include: Networking, Graphical User Interfaces, Operating Systems, Software Engineering practices and principles, and project/team management.


  • Master’s degree.
  • Two years relevant industrial experience.


  • PhD in related field. 
  • Experience teaching in higher education.
